Johnny Rivers, lead, bass, drums and horn section. Secret Agent Man and the Snake. An amazing actual live performance, not lip synched, from the Hollywood Palace on May 7, 1966. Dig Judy Garland’s wigged out intro. She was equally amazing.
The classic band, the Dillards, Rodney, Doug, Mitch and Dean with Herb Pedersen and Billy Ray Latham from some of their first appearances in the early 60s on Hootananny and the Judy Garland Variety Show to clips from Hugh Hefner’s Playboy After Dark, the Johnny Cash Show and PBS’s Soundstage. Plus a few Doug Dillard solo performances from the 70s and 80s.
